Upon arrival, the reception staff was welcoming and promptly checked us in, ensuring we were well-informed about parking and amenities. The room, though clean and equipped with complimentary tea and coffee facilities, could benefit from some modernization. While the bed was generally comfortable, light sleepers may want to consider earplugs as outside noise could be an issue. Dining in the bar was pleasant, and the breakfast spread was satisfactory, served by friendly staff. The availability of free parking in a secure area was a definite perk, particularly for those driving in. It's worth noting that the hotel's central location means that local attractions are within easy reach. If you're seeking luxury, it's best to weigh the offerings here against other options, especially if noise and room design are your priorities. Ultimately, the Farnham Arms provides good value, particularly for accessibility and a straightforward experience while exploring the town.
